[Sunnet Beskerming Security Advisories] Despite Microsoft's continued push towards developing a more secure codebase, including the massive overhaul associated with Windows Vista, this month's patch release points to several Critical remote code execution vulnerabilities that affect all versions of Windows, from Windows 2000, through to Windows 2008. This indicates that there is still a common corpus of code that is shared amongst the different versions of Windows, which has retained the same security vulnerabilities (with the same effects) across versions.
