Protection Blog
[IPEC-International] We are a group of EarthLink employees who have been granted the opportunity to speak directly to consumers about the stuff we work on every day. Our jobs range from building tools that eliminate spyware to lobbying lawmakers to pass laws against spam.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Chef Shane's Cooking Blog] Does Your Computer Have Spyware On It?: I bought the manual yesterday and have already found a few more nasties that my commercial spyware program (WebRoot) didn't find. Not only will this book help you get rid of that nasty spyware hidden on your computer, but it will also help you protect your computer against future attacks.
[Protectionblog.net] EarthLink Protection Blog: Although I had EarthLink Spyware Blocker installed on my computer (it comes with our free TotalAccess software), I realized I hadnt done a spyware scan for some time. (The latest version of our free Spyware Blocker now also proactively blocks known spyware as it tries to install itself on your computer, but the earlier version I had would only detect and disable spyware that was already on your PC.) So I had hope.
