Global Security Watch > Secure Encryption of Emails, Web Browsing and Pretty Much everything

[Anonymous Surfing on the Internet] Now of course you have to be careful with any sorts of encryption technology, emails can be especially tricky as even if you use something like a VPN like I did, anything beyond the tunnel is transmitted in the clear and of course emails will still sit unencrypted on the recipients hard drive.  One really good option for an organisation to secure emails between two or more points is to implement TLS (Transport Layer Security) on Microsoft Exchange.

[sfp101: Stress-Free Productivity] Getting Green with: Digital Signatures & Encryption « sfp101 ...: I find it frustrating that so few people and businesses use encryption on their emails.  If businesses would use encrypted emails, they could just send me a PDF of my bill instead of requiring me to login and download my bill from their website. Many of the processes that currently require printing on dead trees and then using dead dinosaurs to transport sheets of paper through the mail could be done electronically if more people would use encryption.  This article is me doing my little part to help raise awareness of how encryption works.
