I repeat my invitation to President Obama to visit the Arizona border and discuss how we can develop and implement such a plan.”

[Helmand Blog - Afghanistan] Afghan security forces from the Afghan National Army (ANA), Afghan National Police (ANP), Afghan Border Police (ANBP), Afghan Civil Order Police (ANCOP) and ISAF soldiers from the 1st Battalion The Scots Guards acting as part of the Brigade Advisory Group, the 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh and the Counter IED Taskforce have completed a clearance operation around Lashkar Gah in southern Helmand. The operation was jointly planned by Afghan security forces with guidance from ISAF advisors.

Apple to Fix iOS Security Flaw for iPhones, iPads, iPods ...

[DailyFinance] The security vulnerabilities are in Apple's iOS versions 3 and 4 for the iPhone and iPod, as well as iPads running iOS version 3. When customers using the Mobile Safari Web browser land on a malicious website and try to open a PDF document, a hacker can take advantage of a memory corruption error when processing certain data in the document, exploit the flaw to execute arbitrary code, and take over the device.

[The Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC)] This is a critical and time intensive step of the process as the update must be tested against affected versions of Internet Explorer on all supported versions of Windows. Additionally, each supported language version needs to be tested as well as testing against thousands of third party applications.
