[Untitled] Encryption Services Part Deux « Belize Free Internet Consortium: SSL VPN tunnels cannot be blocked - if they were, online banking, and indeed all online commerce would be unavailable in Belize. It is trivial however, to block access to the gateways that are used by services such as PublicVPN and HotspotVPN, and I have a feeling BTL will do this sooner, rather than later.

[Untitled] :wq - blog » Blog Archive » Yahsnarf - Sniff Yahoo IM conversations: Also, this obviously does not work on encrypted messages (OTR or otherwise), so if you value your privacy, use encryption. Remember, don’t ever say anything over IM that you wouldn’t mind the world knowing, you never know who could be .

[Untitled] nihaorr1.com ASP virus - Affiliate Marketing: It also seems it uses known problems with MSSQL and ASP to get in and do it's work so doesn't currently hit LAMP systems. I don't understand all the technical stuff about exactly how it gets in, but from what I can see it gets past quite a few security features so even having permissions on the tables might not always protect.

[Untitled] SMS charges for Instant Messaging on the Dash - HTC: For T-mobile, I purchased unlimited text messaging, this keeps me from having to run up a bill using the SMS IM service, Since I text allot already, it seems to be fine, I have used this from my crappy first nokia all the way up to my RAZR, Blackberry and now the Dash. Personally the Blackberry is a waste because you need a data plan to even use the IM services, so I tend to like the dash better...

[Untitled] 1,2,3,4 -- I Declare IM War: So now, while on the face of things Google has yet again snubbed the Apple community, but in actuality has provided fairly easy access to its systems and services (see GoogleMaps, and GMail initial offerings...no Mac support, but Safari users had fairly immediate access with some limitations on specific tasks, until subsequent updates).

[Untitled] Digsby Blog » Testers Needed for New Release!: Crash Reporter: We still have a few bugs that cause Digsby to crash. These have been hard to hunt down because they are rare, random, and hard to reproduce.  The new release includes a crash reporter that will ask you whether you want to send a crash log to us if Digsby should crash.  This will greatly help us in hunting down and fixing the remaining issues that are causing crashes.  The major changes in architecture in this build may introduce a couple of new crash causing bugs and that is one of the reasons why we want to test the build before releasing it to everyone.
